Celebrate the free exchange of ideas and libraries that preserve access to knowledge with a luminous processional  of 50+ community-built illuminated lanterns that pay tribute to a book that inspires, enlightens, and shapes how we see the world.

Be a part of creating the magic of Morningside Lights by joining free lantern buildings workshop in the week leading up to the procession.

Starts at Morningside Park and ends on the Columbia University campus. Presented in partnership with the Columbia University Libraries and The New York Public Library.
