Water Lantern Festival
April 20, 4:30 pm â9:00 pm
Suggested Ages: All, Adult Friendly
Design and launch an illuminated lantern to join thousands of soft lights reflecting upon the water. Write down hopes and dreams, or a letter to a loved one, and sending it out into the lake.
Each youth and adult ticket includes a floating lantern kit, marker, LED candle, a commemorative drawstring bag, conversation cards, a scavenger hunt giveaway entry and playing cards.
Food and drink available for purchase from on-site food trucks.
The price covers the cost of collecting and removing the lanterns from the water following the event as well as cleaning up any trash that may have been previously been in or around the water. Proceeds also support the mission of Water.org in helping to provide safe water and sanitation to families around the world.
