
The Rink at Winter Village

Skate on the city’s only free rink or just watch and enjoy a festive winter vibe.
⛸ Skate rentals are $15-$55, cheapest on weekday mornings. Free helmets also available.
💼 Shoe check is complimentary for all skaters, as no bags are allowed on the ice. Leave personal items at home, or check them at the skating pavilion ($5 per item, $15 per oversized item – eg: stroller or piece of luggage).
🐧 Skate Aids: $22, free before 11 am.
☕️ Get unique treats (and hot cocoa) at the seasonal rinkside Lodge and Holiday Shops.
🎟 Online advance reservations required to skate, reservations roll out daily two weeks before skate time (with a limited number of free bring-your-own-skate slots).
🎄 Admire the pretty rink-side tree and browse unique shopping. Take a spin on the charming Le Carrousel or warm up at free exhibits at the grand in-park New York Public Library.
