Suggested Ages: All, Adult Friendly

Lounge in a trippy whimsical ‘collective living room,’ on 22nd Street, where you can sit on couches, lie in beds, stack cushions and touch everything bathed in projected colors and images. Experience something similar in an expansive, shared ‘backyard’ on 24th Street. Notice intriguing details in intricate, immersive multimedia works.

Part of a major two-part exhibition with new and recent sculptural works and projections by self-described ‘wild and friendly’ Swiss artist Pipilotti Rist in.  Taking place simultaneously at Hauser & Wirth’s 22nd Street location and Luhring Augustine’s 24th Street location, the exhibit has been conceived by the artist as a multisensory experience for visitors.

Note there is one naked guy doing yoga at one point in the living room video, it’s blurry but don’t let your kid look too closely.

Head upstairs to see giant abstract expressionist sculptures in No One Thing: David Smith, Late Sculptures.

Tue–Sat 10 am–6 pm
