Join hands-on activities for all ages inspired by the museum’s collections, exhibitions, and NYC. The theme for March is Building the City, inspired by the exhibition People, Place & Influence. Pick up a guide with activity prompts and explore New York’s art, culture, and history in the galleries. Learn fun facts about NYC from Museum Educators and create an artwork or artifact to take home.

Learn how engineers have used science, math, and the art of design to solve challenges – shaping New York City into the city we know and love today. Try urban planning and design a building or test a bridge structure. Then, pick up a scavenger hunt to find historical artifacts and uncover the stories of people who built the city.
