Join the Museum of the City of New York for a screening of this hilarious Christmas film about a young orphan child who mistakenly crawls into Santa’s bag of gifts on Christmas Eve and is transported back to the North Pole and raised as an elf. Years later Buddy learns he is not really an elf and goes on a journey to New York City to find his true identity. Sing along with Buddy and his friends and learn fun, new facts about the North Pole, Elf Culture, and every Buddy else.

Inspired by the installation Gingerbread NYC: The Great Borough Bake-Off, families will design their own Gingerbread New Yorkers to live in a Gingerbread New York City. Enter a raffle to win fun prizes.

Tickets include all-day entrance to the museum, a juice box & a bag of popcorn.

From 11 am–3 pm, participate in arts and crafts activities inspired by the winter season and New York’s iconic structures. Create a variety of objects to take home – including snowflake monoprints, snowglobes, and more. Join an 11 am a reading of a picture book featuring one of the iconic landmarks of New York City included in the Gingerbread exhibition.
