Taking over four floors of the museum, this exhibition brings together six decades of the pioneering feminist artist Judy Chicago’s work in painting, sculpture, installation, drawing, textiles, photography, stained glass, needlework, and printmaking.
“The City of Ladies,” an exhibition-within-the-exhibition, spotlights women essential to the history of art and Chicago’s own practice, from Artemisia Gentileschi to Hilma af Klint Georgia O’Keeffe.
