* 53rd St: pink marble stairs encircle giant sparkly trees in rainbow colors at Swarovski on Fifth

* 52nd St: red-ribboned wrapped Cartier store

* 51st St: always gorgeous St. Patrick’s Cathedral

* 50th St: Saks Windows & Light show & Rockefeller Center

* 50th St & Madison: the stunning Lotte New York Palace Tree

* Other holiday windows include Bloomingdales and the classic Macy’s (both with Santas). Or continue east to oversized decor on sixth avenue or south to Bryant Park’s Winter Village.
