For the final time in their two-year MetLiveArts residency, Catalyst Quartet takes their place among the art, popping up around the Museum to help listeners discover the music that history has pushed to the margins. Join a program that casts a modern eye on the Western musical canon and highlights previously silenced voices—who knows, maybe you’ll leave with a new favorite composer.
Featuring works from Catalyst Quartet’s GRAMMY®-nominated album Uncovered, Vol. 3, by Coleridge-Taylor Perkinson, William Grant Still, and George Walker.
6 pm & 8 pm:Â Gallery 760, The American Wing
